Provenance
The write-time record: run, stage and source artifact.

Read it with ekos ledger audit <id> or the ekos_audit tool: every version, oldest first. Entries written before this existed have no provenance and are reported as such.
Storage: SQLite ledgers keep provenance as columns on each entry; the fact engine keeps it in a provenance.jsonl sidecar.
