MCP

EKOS as a Model Context Protocol server: transports, capabilities and client matrix.

ekos mcp serve implements MCP over newline-delimited JSON-RPC 2.0.

Transport Flag Auth
stdio (default) none needed — the client spawns the process
TCP --tcp ADDR first initialize carries params._meta.token
Streamable HTTP --http ADDR Authorization: Bearer on every request

Streamable HTTP exposes one POST /mcp endpoint. The reply is JSON or SSE by Accept negotiation. There is no server-initiated GET stream.

Twenty tools are exposed (search, query, retrieval, EKL, graph traversal, impact, history, audit, transformation and architecture analysis, two review tools and one gated live-query tool): MCP Tools.
