Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 November 2026

These terms apply to the EKOS public demo — the EKOS console and the Superset dashboards hosted for it — and to the ekos.dev website. By signing in to the demo you accept them. If you do not, do not sign in. The EKOS software itself is open source under the MIT License; these terms do not change that licence.

What the demo is

A free demonstration of EKOS, run by the project's maintainer. You can read what EKOS has compiled about the open-source iDempiere ERP and its GardenWorld sample company (fictional data), ask questions in plain words, and build dashboards from the answers. It is offered as a demonstration only, not as a service you can rely on.

Limits

What is not allowed

Requests that clearly break these rules are refused and can lead to a temporary block or a permanent ban of the account and a temporary block of the address. You see the reason; the maintainer reviews the log and can lift a ban.

Your content

Dashboards and other things you create in the demo are visible to other demo users and may be removed at any time. You give us permission to store and show them for the demo. Do not publish anything you do not have the right to share.

AI-generated answers

Queries, charts and explanations are produced with the help of an AI model and checked by EKOS, but they can still be wrong or incomplete. Do not rely on them for any decision.

Availability and changes

The demo may be changed, reset, interrupted or shut down at any time, and data in it may be lost. We may update these terms; the new version is published here with a new date, and continuing to use the demo means you accept it.

No warranty, limited liability

The demo and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, the maintainer and contributors of EKOS are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the demo or the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Third-party services

Signing in uses GitHub or Google, the demo runs on Microsoft Azure, and questions are processed by Anthropic's AI model. Their own terms apply to your use of them. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Ending use

You can stop using the demo at any time and ask for your data to be deleted (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
